AT&T and Verizon announced their plans to sell the handsets manufactured by Red in separate announcements on May 17.

Nevertheless, if you're sold on the hype and didn't get your pre-order in before the deadline closed, you'll be happy to learn that the nation's two largest wireless providers - Verizon and AT&T - will both be carrying the Red Hydrogen One.

AT&T and Verizon also revealed the phone will launch with something called the "Hydrogen network", a content platform for video created with the phone's "4-View" camera.

"Red Hydrogen One was designed with cutting-edge technology that simply can't be described". And you won't need glasses or an augmented reality headset to view images popping out of the Hydrogen One's display, which also feature a more conventional 3D mode.

We are Liverpool , on the way to becoming a really good team, and performing at such a high level is very cool. Liverpool take on Real Madrid in Kiev , Ukraine, on May 26. "But, after all, we've earned our place here".

At its Shape conference in Los Angeles, AT&T will be demonstrating the RED Hydrogen One on June 2 and 3.

You'll be able to verify those bombastic but vague claims for yourselves "later this summer" on AT&T, and "later this year" on Verizon, with no words on recommended retail pricing. The phone can also display standard 2D images.

We'll likely have more information on the Hydrogen One leading up to its release.

AT&T said in its press release that the device would be available later this summer with Verizon only committing to a window of "later this year". The website now lists $1,295 for the aluminum phone and $1,595 for the titanium version.

Recently, Red stated that the phone was delayed and now coming in August.
